    ED KPOP is an online training agency and platform where you receive training in singing, choreography, personal style, fitness, self-confidence and more—all from the people who trained the world’s biggest KPOP stars. While KPOP, or Korean pop music, has millions of fans around the globe, it is difficult to take KPOP-related classes outside of Korea. Although there are plenty of KPOP videos online, it's hard to learn from the top professionals.   • How can I train online instead of in-person?

    The best KPOP trainers teach you using the same curriculum used to train actual KPOP idols. By joining ED KPOP, you don't simply 'watch' the videos online. Instead, you can compare your moves with the trainers' in real time and get the same experience you would get offline in real life.     With private lessons, you can interact 1:1 with ED KPOP instructors who actually train KPOP idols. This way, you can clearly recognize what you're good at, or where you need to improve.   • Can I interact with the trainers?

    Yes! ED KPOP was made for KPOP trainers to interact with and train KPOP fans around the world. You can take live classes taught by ED instructors and receive direct feedback from them in real time, or take their private lessons for further detailed guidance on how to make improvements on your dancing and singing skills. You can also receive helpful feedback from your fellow trainees by joining our community (Amino).

  • Do I have to be in Korea to take this class?

    Not at all! ED KPOP is an online class. If you have an internet connection, you can learn from the best KPOP trainers wherever you are in the world.

  • Can beginners take classes?

    Of course! Our classes are designed so you can learn gradually. Start as a beginner and progress all the way up to the level of a KPOP idol. We have beginner-friendly rearranged choreography and KPOP dance routines and you will soon be able to dance like a KPOP star if you continue with our step-by-step courses.
    You can even get feedback from real KPOP trainers during our live classes or through private lessons. Challenge yourself with us!

  • What if I'm not interested in becoming a KPOP idol?

    Our classes are for everybody: KPOP fans, people who want to learn how to dance, those who want to build self-confidence, anyone who wants to try singing, and everyone who is looking for a fun hobby they can do at home!

  • Is it okay if I cannot speak Korean?

    Of course! Every live, on-demand classes, and even private lessons have English translation. You might even be able to learn some Korean by taking our classes and listening to the instructors speak Korean and listening to KPOP songs with Korean lyrics!

  • What kind of courses do you have? How often are they updated?

    We have live and on-demand classes on dance, vocal, styling, and fitness. We provide the same systematic training process which real KPOP idols go through before and after their debut. There are 36 live classes every month, and new on-demand classes are also uploaded on our website every week!

  • Do I need a special device to participate in live, on-demand classes and private lessons?

    No, you don't. We support every device that can connect to the internet, including smartphones, tablet PCs, laptops, and TV. For your best learning experience, we recommend accessing with laptop or PCs.

  • Can I download the class videos?

    Currently, we only provide streaming on our website to prevent copyright infringement.

  • Do you really give a chance to audition? How can I apply?

    Yes! We provide opportunities to audition with recruiters from our partnering management companies in Korea. In 2021, in association with SM Entertainment, ED hosted exclusive audition for our trainees.
    More auditions with many management companies are to be followed. Your success is our pride!

  • Are there any classes other than dance?

    Of course! In addition to dance classes, we have vocal, styling, and fitness classes.

  • What if I'm not satisfied?

    We hope that you find our classes satisfactory for exploring and learning about KPOP. For you to see before you decide, you can access live and on-demand classes for FREE! Even more, for first timers, first ED 1:1 private lesson with the best KPOP instructors are available at just $9.99! If you start your membership and change your mind, you can cancel your membership at any time. Just email us at support@edkpop.com.

  • Am I too old to join? What if I'm not Asian or Korean?

    We understand your concerns, but we truly believe anybody can enjoy KPOP, regardless of age, ethnicity, or nationality. Please feel free to join us whenever you want!

About Classes

  • How long is one class?

    On average, a choreography class is about 80 minutes long and other classes (KPOP Essentials, Vocal, and Fitness) are 60 minutes long. Just upon your sign-up, you receive unlimited access to all our live class and on-demand live class recordings, and you can rewatch them anytime you want. All for FREE!

  • How difficult is it?

    Our classes are designed so that you can gradually progress through different levels as you learn and improve. Start as a beginner and advance all the way up to the level of a KPOP idol. If you're new to KPOP, don't worry! You will become a better dancer very soon if you follow our courses step by step. Are you already confident about your skills? Compare your moves with the best choreographers' dancing and improve your weaknesses.

  • In what languages are subtitles available?

    For now, ED KPOP provides English translation for every class.

Live Classes

  • How does the class work?

    The classes are held on Zoom. You’ll be able to learn and practice with instructors as well as your peers. You can also ask any questions and receive feedback in real-time.

  • How do I participate?

    In order to access ED LIVE classes,
    1. Log onto the ED website (edkpop.com).
    2. Go to 'Schedule' tab.
    3. Select a live class of your choice, check 'CLASS DETAIL' and then click 'COUNT ME IN' button.
    4. Click on 'JOIN CLASS' button when the link activates 30 minutes before the class starts. That's it! Just join the class and have fun!

  • Where can I see the class details?

    You can see the class details and the schedule on our website on 'Schedule', or on @edkpoplive Instagram!

  • Are there any additional fees?

    No, not at all! You can participate by just installing Zoom on your smartphone, PC/laptop, or tablet device. You do not need to pay for a Zoom membership.

  • Do I need special equipment to participate in the ED LIVE class?

    You can participate by installing Zoom on your smartphone, PC/laptop, or tablet device. For a better learning experience, we recommend a device that can play sounds (ex. Airpods or Headsets) and has a front-facing camera.

Artist Classes

  • What is an Artist Class?

    It's a special class hosted by ED KPOP where top KPOP artists become your teacher and mentor! Because these classes are held live, you can interact directly with the artists as your teacher and receive feedback from them. ED KPOP brought to you Artist Classes to make your KPOP training experience more fun and exciting. We are planning to hold at least one every month.

  • How do I sign up for an Artist Class?

    When ED KPOP team is hosting an Artist Class, the details will be announced through ED KPOP social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and on website 'Notice'. When ticket sales open, one ticket per account can be purchased on ED KPOP website (https://edkpop.com/en-us/artistclass). You can pay with international credit cards or PayPal. Ticket purchase requires a login on our website, so if you make an account beforehand, your purchase can go more smoothly.

  • Can I get a refund for an Artist Class ticket?

    All Artist Class ticket purchases are final and non-refundable with the exception of duplicate purchases under one ED KPOP account. - Duplicated purchases: We will try to ensure that our system prevents duplicate purchases, but it may occur sometimes if there is a high traffic. In the case of duplicate purchases, please email support@edkpop.com.

Private Lessons

  • What is ED private lesson?

    ED private lessons offers you personalized teaching, feedback and intensive training opportunities for trainees who want to take a step further in their level of performance. Book your lesson with ED's star KPOP idol trainers and find out about your current status and ways to improve your dance/vocal skills.

  • How do I book a lesson?

    You can start booking a lesson by clicking Reserve on Home page. When a pop-up shows up, you will select a lesson category and type. Then, you will be directed to a page where you can choose your preferred date, time and a song of your choice. Once your reservation gets approved by ED Team, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link included.

  • What songs can I choose for a lesson?

    For a vocal lesson, you can choose any KPOP song.
    For a dance lesson, you can choose a choreo from on-demand practice videos uploaded on the ED website.

  • Isn't the ticket too expensive?

    It costs nearly $3-5,000 a month for KPOP trainees to get weekly lessons from vocal and dance trainers. With the same trainers and same lesson curriculum, the welomce class is only $9.99 and after that less than $50 per lesson

  • Is it okay to be a complete beginner when taking lessons?

    Of course! KPOP training system is optimized for acquiring the basics and gaining physical strength in the shortest amount of time. Mastering the basics will allow you to find your own style and sing or dance to any type of song.

  • How many lessons should I take to see visible improvement?

    After the first lesson, you will be able to feel the difference. According to proven results from our beta test, we recommend 4 lessons at minimum along with your own practice to most effectively improve your performance.

  • What type of lessons are available?

    -We provide Standard and Premium (original contents) lessons. It’s decided upon the lesson duration and what choreography you select for dance.
    -Standard Lessons: 30 minute lessons for vocal and non-original choreography
    -Premium Lessons:
    1) Original choreography lessons from the original choreographer, duration of 30 minutes.
    2) 60 minute duration for both vocal and dance lessons.

  • How will my instructor be matched?

    Your instructor will be automatically matched based on the instructor's availability. But don't worry! We 100% guarantee you that all instructors are top professionals and you'll be satisfied with lessons.

  • Can we cancel or reschedule a lesson?

    Yes. We understand your schedule can be changed. Canceling or rescheduling a lesson is available until 72 hours before lesson time.

  • Do we have to know Korean to take lessons?

    Not at all! In every lesson, an English translator will attend and translate for you in real time.

  • How do tickets get deducted?

    Tickets get deducted at the time you make a reservation. For Standard lessons, 2 ticket is used and for Premium lessons, 2 to 4 tickets are used.

  • What does Bonus mean?

    Bonus is a benefit we provide for our trainees. If you have unused tickets that are past expiration date, 50% of the cost of unused tickets will be converted to your bonus.

  • How can I use my bonus?

    Bonuses can be used when you make your next purchase of monthly or one-time membership. Also, you can use the bonuses to purchase additional lesson tickets. If you’re subscribed to the monthly lesson plan, bonuses will automatically be reflected to deduct the amount on your next month’s payment.

  • Who are the instructors?

    Don't be surprised! KPOP Artist's private teachers, original choreographers of hottest KPOP songs, and professionals with full of stage, production, and dance training experiences ARE NOW YOUR PRIVATE TEACHERS!

Memberships

  • What do I get with my membership?

    You can choose to subscribe to 1, 2, 4, 8 lessons a month, or purchase 12 lessons for 3 months or 18 lessons for 6 months. WIth the lessons purchased, you can choose dance or vocal, and even the instructor you'd like to receive your lesson from. The length of the lessons is 30 minutes for a standard lesson. If you wish to book for 60 minute lesson, it's also possible by using 2 tickets.
    On top of the lessons provided, you get unlimited access to all live and on-demand classes!

  • Can I try out the lessons for free?

    Upon your sign-up to ED KPOP, you get unlimited access to all live and on-demand classes for FREE! To try out private lessons before subscription, we offer the first ED 1:1 private lesson at only $9.99!

  • How can I get feedback from the trainers?

    You can receive your personalized feedback from our instructors through ED private lessons. On your first lesson, you will go through a mock audition and the you will be consulted on your level of performance and receive personalized recommendations for improvement. Following lessons will be about giving pin-point guidances to further develop your skills.

  • What are the payment options?

    We accept payment international credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.

  • Can I get a refund?

    - ED Private Lessons:
    For both monthly subscriptions or one-time payment product, 50% of residual lessons after your period ends will be converted into bonuses which you can use upon your next subscription payment, or purchasing extra lessons.
    * For Monthly Subscriptions: If you want to stop recurring charges for your membership, you must email us before the next subscription renewal date. By purchasing Private Lessons with monthly subscriptions, you acknowledge that your membership has recurring payment features and you accept responsibility for all recurring payments until your subscription is canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing support@edkpop.com. If you cancel your subscription, you can still book and participate in your remaining lesson until the end of that period, and will not be renewed afterwards. However, you will not be eligible for a prorated refund of any portion of the subscription fee for any current or past subscription periods for any reason other than technical errors.
    * For One-time Payments: 50% of residual lessons after your period ends will be converted into bonuses which you can use upon your next subscription payment, or purchasing extra lessons. However, refund is not available.
